Ms Amanda HSU received her MPhil in Comparative Literature and BA (First Class Honours; double-major) in English Studies (Special Honours Major) and Comparative Literature from the University of Hong Kong. An experienced English teacher with the PGDE and LPAT qualifications, she has taught EAP and ESP courses, English semantics and pragmatics, and literary appreciation courses at various institutions. She is currently a PhD candidate (literary studies; part-time) at the Department of English, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research area covers Renaissance humanism and Enlightenment humanism, posthumanism, naturalism, and myth-rewriting in modern and contemporary speculative fiction.
