After graduating with a BA in English, Ms Pearl Tsui continued her studies in Applied Linguistics by pursuing an MA in Japan. Before joining HSUHK, she taught various courses on English for Academic Purposes, Business English, and Linguistics at different tertiary institutions in Hong Kong. With diverse cultural background, she believes speaking other languages can enhance one’s understanding of the world. Her research interests focus on learner’s autonomy and automated writing evaluation system, which will give meaningful insights of how to improve experience of English writing in the digital age.
