Mr Jason Hung Tsun Sing (洪浚昇先生)

Jason Hung obtained his first class BA in Contemporary English Studies from Lingnan University and his MA in Linguistics and MPhil in English (Applied English Linguistics) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also completed his Cambridge CELTA teaching qualification and Mount Royal University extension certificate in curriculum development and instructional design. Prior to joining HSUHK, he worked at several local universities including The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, and Saint Francis University. He has taught a range of courses in theoretical and applied linguistics, teaching English to speakers of other languages, and English for academic and specific purposes. His research interests primarily lie at second language acquisition, second language writing, pedagogical grammar, cognitive linguistics, and corpus linguistics. His work has appeared in The Asian Journal of Applied Linguistics, Asian Journal of English Language Teaching, and edited books in Routledge and IGI Global publication.
