Priceless Friendships

Hang Seng University of Hong Kong has given me a lot more than I thought.
The BA-ENG programme has provided us a solid foundation in both Literature and Linguistics. We were encouraged to share our views in class, and we also had a chance to conduct experiments in our Final Year Projects. Notwithstanding what was taught in class, I have gained priceless friendships, as well as experience through the internship programme provided by the Department. Professors were very encouraging and were genuinely supportive. Throughout this four-year journey, I had opportunities to explore different areas of Linguistics. It has given me a concrete idea of the field and how Linguistics can be adapted to our lives.
I am grateful that both the school and the English Department have given me valuable opportunities and advice. Without all these guidance and support, I would never have thought of continuing my studies in London.
